In this film I run through how to use a heart rate monitor for cycle fitness training.
By using a heart rate monitor it is possible to use various training zones, each of which give a different fitness benefit.
To begin you have to calculate your maximum heart rate. When you have this you can go on a calculate the six different zones which are percentages of the Max HR.
Once you have done this you can use this information to put together a fitness training plan which will be tailor made for your own, specific cycling and fitness goals.
